Oh the places you will go... (eek!)
Hello! I’m sorry for such a hiatus - I have been busily moving in, unpacking, braving Irene, and prepping myself for the new year. Today was the first of New Teacher Orientation - so much info, but makes me so unbelievably excited nonetheless. Now since I finally have my wireless access code, I can blog away!
Off to a cook-out tonight…Nothing beats this cooler weather & making new...

The Help
Spent the stormy afternoon with mom at the movies. “The Help” is fantastic. Smiles, tears, poignance, courage and compassion are spun together in a way that cannot leave a viewer unchanged. There is so much for us to do in the world, in our everyday worlds.
I can’t help but think that with every day is a chance to be a better person, to do what is right, to stand strong there...

No, I’m not getting married…if that’s the insta-question the quaint little title made you wonder. But as summer thunders to its close, and the August bounty has never tasted so sweet, I cannot help but smile at such a delicious summer. No nostalgia, just smiles and appreciation.
